Women's Ministries
PURPOSE
The Women's Ministry of First United Methodist Church, El Dorado, AR, has the purpose
of reaching out to women in this church, in the community and in surrounding communities to bring
them to faith in Jesus Christ, nurture their life walk with Jesus Christ and love one another
through fellowship.
PLAN
In an effort to fulfill our "Purpose", the Women's Ministry of First United Methodist Church, El Dorado has hosted several events
during the past year. We started off the year with a two day Women's Conference featuring Jan Silvious, who spoke on her book,
"Fool-Proofing Your Life." Noon-day Bible studies have been held on Wednesday featuring Beth Moore video Bible studies.
Upcoming events include a 2010 Womens' Conference in January featuring Jan Silvious and Babbie Mason entitled "Big Girl, Big God."
